Meet the Team

Megan Wilkenson

Executive Director

Born in Morristown, Megan lives with her husband David, their son Jace, and her 3 bonus children David, Cody, & Braden, she is severally out-numbered by boys!  They have 4 dogs as well so she says her life is never boring!  In her spare time Megan enjoys painting, is an avid animal lover, and is constantly remodeling the house.  It’s a running joke at their house on will the living room be the same color when her husband gets home from work.  Megan says her goals for Darby House are to ‘make sure each resident knows they are part of this family and do the very best by each resident that I possibly can.  I enjoy getting to know each resident individually and knowing their families and friends.  They get to know my family and we laugh and cry together.  This is so much more than just a retirement community, we all truly care for each other, and I feel like that is what’s so special about our community.  I just want to make sure each resident receives the very best care available and I feel that is so much than just medically.  We try to focus not only on medical care but also mental, emotional, and spiritual as well.’
